The Youth Cadet program was founded in 2024 by Chief Smith and is for Youth ages 14-21. The Cadet program is designed to give youth an opportunity to see the world of first responders as well as life skills such as first aid, CPR, and defensive tactics training! The Cadet program aims to build the Cadets public speaking abilities, as well as serve the citizens of Laramie County and Kimball Nebraska through public service! Anyone can join the program, whether you are interested in Law Enforcement or just want to join a good extra curricular program that will look good on Collage resumes, or future job applications! The Cadet program is sponsored by Pine Bluffs Police Department, Laramie County Sheriff's Office, and Kimball, NE Police Department! All youth are welcome to join!
